Beekeeper Assist
The goal of this senior project was to design and build a device that lifts and rotates commercial bee boxes. Alejandro Jauregui is a US Army veteran turned commercial beekeeper who has two prosthetic legs. His prosthetics cause him pain and discomfort in his back when he lifts his bee boxes for inspection. We designed our device, the Beekeeper Assist, to help lift and rotate these boxes for him.
