The project objective is to design and build a toolbox to enable k-12 teachers to feel safe in the classroom during the COVID-19 pandemic so that they can return to in-person teaching.
The purpose of this project was to design, build, and test a device to improve hand strength and dexterity for our project sponsor, Bill Phelps, who suffers from inclusion body myositis (IBM), a degenerative muscle disease.
Our project aims to design and manufacture a self-propelling beach wheelchair that adaptive surfers can use to independently travel to and from the beach to surf.
Veterans’ Affairs home care nurses currently spend anywhere from thirty minutes to two hours filling out monthly prescriptions one pill at a time to veterans who are unable to leave their homes. The goal of this project was to create an easy-to-use device that could be left at a patient’s home that nurses could use to quickly and accurately dispense medication into the patient’s monthly pill box.
