This project assesses the marine fouling performance of eight alloys. The alloys are intended for use as cladding on offshore hydraulic cylinders. There are three general categories of alloys, NiCr-based, Cu containing, and Co-based, three alloys have been developed by the sponsor, Oerlikon Metco.
