Surf Leg Prosthetic 2

We created a fully functional below the knee leg prosthetic that was designed to specifically be used for surfing. Normal prosthetics do not give users the required ankle mobility required for complex movements needed to surf such as squatting. Our design is focused on given the user the required movement while keeping the weight of the prosthetic light enough to be comfortable.

Rear Prosthetic Limb for a Rescue Dog

Aspen is a three-legged dog with mobility issues from Berkeley, California. She was hit by a car and her rear left leg had to be amputated at the hip. Our team, The Underdogs, are tasked with helping Aspen regain some of her mobility and the ability to go on walks. To do this, we designed and manufactured a cart that mounts to Aspen

QL+ Prosthetic Farming Arm for Cassie

Cassie is a Navy Veteran who lost her arm between her elbow and shoulder a couple of years ago. She currently works on a farm in Oregon where she performs manual labor on a day-to-day basis. Her current prosthetic doesn’t meet her needs related to her work on the farm, so the goal of this project is to create two prosthetic terminal devices to assist Cassie on the farm.
